CheusiDawaTV is an East African Hip Hop online channel that takes the essence of freestyling from the streets to the screens. This Hip Hop booth, famously known for FidStyle Friday, is where emcees congregate every Friday to share poetic bars with Fid Q (Tanzanian Hip Hop artist based in Dar es Salaam), and also to discuss social and political issues.
Raw like rhymes in freestyles, FidStyle Friday episodes are shot guerilla-style; to unfold the Cultural Revolution in front of our eyes. Although revolutions are often not televised, our episodes have gone viral online, as rhymes delivered prove to be infectious most of the time.
